Silver Birch Studios is a home based business that specializes in making earrings, necklaces and bracelets all by hand. Run by a husband and wife duo, most of their jewellery is made from the mixing and layering of different metals such as copper, brass and pewter, along with the natural beauty of the gemstone, Jasper.
Jasper offers an incredible variety of patterns and is typically brown in color, but can also be found in shades of grey, blue, white, purple, pink, red, orange, and yellow. It has also been know to carry an energy peace, calm, and tranquility. Those who love Jasper say that it anchors them in the present moment and helps with any tendencies towards over-thinking and worrying about the future.
The last 7 years, Wayne and Sandy have have sold their jewellery at Markets all over New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and PEI. From weekly farmers markets to Christmas craft shows, they have handmade MANY unique pieces that have people coming back for more.
Unfortunately, after the recent passing of Wayne, it became obvious that Sandy that could not do this on her own. So now it is time to pass the torch on to someone else.
The wholesale value of all the unassembled pieces, gems and tools that are for sale is far more than the asking price of the business. The retail value of all the assembled jewellery that is ready for sale is over $10.000.
